Website Terms and Conditions
These Terms apply to your use of the website operated by Traffic Paralegal Services Professional Corporation (“Traffic Paralegal Services”, “we”, “us”, “our”) (the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
1) What the Website Is For
The Website provides general information about our services, educational resources, and ways to contact us regarding Provincial Offences Act and Highway Traffic Act matters in Ontario.
The Website is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for legal advice tailored to your specific situation.
2) No Legal Advice / No Paralegal–Client Relationship
Website content is general information and may not reflect the latest developments.
Using the Website (including sending a message, submitting a form, requesting a call-back, or booking a consultation) does not create a paralegal–client relationship. A relationship only exists if we confirm in writing that we are acting for you (typically through a retainer/engagement confirmation and completion of any required onboarding steps).
Do not send confidential or urgent information through the Website unless and until we confirm we are retained and provide secure instructions.
3) Copyright and Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the Website’s content (text, articles, graphics, logos, layout, and design) is owned by or licensed to Traffic Paralegal Services and protected by Canadian intellectual property laws.
You may:
- view and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes;
- print or save reasonable portions for your personal reference or to contact us, without removing notices.
You may not:
- copy, republish, sell, or distribute content for commercial purposes;
- scrape or systematically download content;
- use content to create a competing product or service;
- use our name, branding, or logos without written permission.
4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Website or interfere with others’ use. You must not:
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- introduce malware or harmful code;
- use bots or automated tools to copy content without permission;
- submit false or misleading information;
- use the Website for unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harassing purposes.
We may restrict or block access where use appears unsafe, abusive, or unlawful.
5) No Guarantee of Results
Service descriptions on the Website are general and may change.
We do not guarantee outcomes. Results depend on many factors (including evidence, court processes, scheduling, and legal issues). Any past results are not a promise of future outcomes.
6) Consultations, Quotes, and Retainers
If you request a consultation or quote, any estimate given before a full review is preliminary and may change after reviewing the ticket/charge details, disclosure (if available), timelines, court location, and scope of work.
A retainer is only confirmed when we accept it and you receive written confirmation (and payment arrangements are completed where required).
7) Online Payments and Chargebacks
If online payments are available, they may be processed by third-party providers who have their own terms and privacy policies.
You agree not to initiate improper chargebacks for services provided within an agreed scope, except where you have a legitimate basis under your cardholder agreement and applicable law.
8) Website Disclaimers
The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.
Content may contain errors and may be changed at any time without notice.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traffic Paralegal Services is not liable for losses or damages arising from your use (or inability to use) the Website.
If we are found liable despite the above, our total liability will not exceed $100 CAD, or the minimum amount required by law, whichever is greater.
10) Third-Party Links
The Website may link to third-party sites (including government resources) for convenience. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Use them at your own risk.
